Learning Resources For All
Sparkle Box has 1000s of resources for use within the classroom, home etc. The resources range from visuals to accompany books, to play dough mats through to resources for other learning areas. The site has a sister site that caters to slightly older learners. No sign up is required though a toolbar can be downloaded for easier use and access to extra resources.
Teacher Resources
Twinkl is a British site that has a huge collection of resources that can be adapted for any learner age or ability. Resources include powerpoints, printables and videos. Some resources can be access through a free sign up, but most are only accessable through paid subscription.
Teach This has a huge and growing collection of resources for literacy and other learning areas. The resources are bright and visually appealing, and include things like board games, visuals and printables. There are some resources avaliable free, otherwise paid sign up is required.
SEN Teacher is a site that has free learning materials that are suitable for all learner ages and abilities. Materials include printables and downloadable programs. There is no sign up required.
Activity Village has a large collection of resources that are suitable for younger learners, and can be adapted for use with older learners. There are printables, craft suggestions etc and lots of activities relating to current world topics or events. No sign up is required.
Tes Connect has nearly 1 million resources for use in a classroom, at home, etc. There are options to narrow down searches to particular ages or subjects. Resources include interactive whiteboard lessons, lesson plans, teaching note, etc. Free sign up is required.
There is also an Australia version that includes mostly the same resources, but searches Australian ones first.
Have Fun Teaching is a site that has produced its own videos, songs and printables. The songs in particular are a favourite amongst learners, due their suitability for all ages.
